Hello, my name is Gabriela Shirley!

I am a Software Engineer.

Graduated from the University of California, San Diego Class of 2021 majoring in Computer Science.

I am driven to expand my horizons in different types of fields and hope to use my accumulated knowledge to make an impact on my community and even the world. Although I am focusing on Web and Mobile App development, I am also studying design and human cognition in order to combine both my technical and personal skills and create new applications that will ultimately help others.

Scraped, preprocessed, and built a rating prediction model on whiskey rating datasets to make more personalized recommendations using Ridge Regression in Python, yielding RMSE of 2.906 on testing sets which refined our baseline model performance by 28%.
